The b70 DECO is a real specialist. You already have a sewing machine, but now you want to embroider too? This embroidery-only machine offers you everything you need to embellish or personalize clothing or accessories. Over 200 embroidery designs are already integrated, which you can easily edit on the large, colour touch screen. Additional embroidery designs can be uploaded and saved via USB stick. The two BERNINA Toolbox embroidery software modules Lettering and Editing give you even more creative options.

Easy & fast operation via touchscreen or multifunction buttons

The colourful, centrally positioned 5-inch touchscreen makes it easy to find the desired embroidery design, edit it and position it using drag & drop. The multi-function knobs allow you to adjust the size and position of your embroidery design even more precisely. The embroidery tutorial gives you valuable tips on how to operate the machine and the embroidery module.

Embroidery module with three hoops and hoop recognition

With the three hoops included, you'll always have the right hoop for any size embroidery design. You can embroider designs up to 260 x 160 mm without rehooping. The hoops are easy to open and close thanks to a quick-release mechanism. And the automatic hoop recognition shows you the corresponding embroidery area on the touchscreen, so you can adjust your embroidery design to fit perfectly.

Creative variety of embroidery designs

Over 200 embroidery designs and 7 embroidery alphabets are already integrated. You can edit the motifs on the touchscreen: rotate, mirror or combine them. You want more? Additional embroidery designs can be uploaded via USB stick, e.g. those you have edited and combined with the BERNINA Toolbox embroidery software. The b70 DECO is compatible with most embroidery design formats - no more tedious conversion in embroidery software.

Practical top and bobbin thread monitoring

When the upper or bobbin thread is empty, the thread monitor ensures that the machine immediately stops the embroidery process. This allows you to continue embroidering seamlessly and directly at the corresponding point when the thread bobbin is full again.

Adjusting presser foot pressure and upper thread tension to the fabric

When embroidering, the correct thread tension is very important. For some materials, such as light and thin fabrics, it is advisable to adjust the presser foot pressure and thread tension individually. Your bernette 70 DECO has these practical functions. For bulky projects, we recommend using the bouncing embroidery foot, which is also included in the standard accessories.

Embroidery made easy

Thanks to the basting stitches, your fabric is even better secured to the embroidery stabilizer. You no longer have to cut the threads individually while embroidering - connecting stitches and threads before color changes are cut automatically.

Even more comfort

The semi-automatic needle threader makes threading a breeze - the presser foot automatically lowers to the correct position and the thread can be secured in the side thread cutter for threading.
